Dr. Blake Treichel
Dr. Blake Treichel is a Fox Valley native originally from Appleton, WI. He attended Fox Valley Lutheran High School, then continued on to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. Having a love for patient care, attention to detail, and working with his hands, he chose dentistry as his career, and graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry. He has been serving patients at Smiles By Design since 2014. Dr. Blake wants prospective patients to know that the staff at Smiles By Design prides themselves on providing reliable and quality dentistry, while supporting and respecting patient led care towards a healthy mouth, and establishing lifelong patient relationships. Dr. Blake and his wife Clare have 3 daughters: Ellis, Lennon and Lydia. When not in the office, Dr. Blake enjoys spending time with his girls, playing music at his church, hiking, biking, and attending motorsport events at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI. He is also an avid sports fan, cheering on all his Wisconsin based teams.
Dr. Bryce Dunathan
Dr. Bryce could not be more excited to be back home at Smiles by Design. After graduating from Hortonville High School, Dr. Bryce attended St. Norbert College for his undergraduate coursework, and ultimately graduated from Marquette University with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Bryce is committed to providing high quality care for his patients, while extending his service beyond the dental office and into the community. Outside of the office, Dr. Bryce enjoys spending time with his family, Kiley, Wesley, and their golden retriever, Flora. They enjoy traveling, all outdoor activities, sharing tasty meals, and spending quality time with their loved ones. Although he may not cheer within the state lines, Dr. Bryce enjoys any conversation about sports, and appreciates all sympathy given for his Detroit Lions.
Dr. Alex Orzepowski
Originally from Appleton, Dr. Alex is excited to bring his skills and passion for dentistry to the Hortonville community. Practicing close to where he grew up offers a meaningful way to give back to the broader region that helped shape him. A graduate of Xavier High School, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Alex completed a one-year fellowship at Tri-County Dental, a community care clinic in Appleton, where he gained extensive hands-on experience working alongside over 80 dental professionals—including oral surgeons, endodontists, pediatric, and general dentists. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. Dr. Alex is married to his wife, Kendal, a pediatric dentist, and together with their dog Moose, he enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, traveling, and spending time with family outside the office. He also plans to continue volunteering at Tri-County Dental to support and mentor new dentists, just as others have mentored him.
